Race Tactics: FRONT for races 1600 Sometimes you can lose races by being on the outside. Pedigree paper research path: Lapine -> Hefty -> Degrasse. The horse will train or sit in the pasture depending on his age. Rest means the horse is not running a race that day. I created a step by step monthly table which contains advice and what race to run with what horse. The fourth and final part, ending, focuses on years 10+. The third part, late game, focuses on years 7, 8, and 9. The second part, middle of the game, focuses on years 4, 5, and 6. The first part, start of the game, focuses on years 1, 2, and 3. You can manipulate the chain of unlocking breeds by selecting certain ones over others. Keep doing so until you see the lapine breed. If you get the hefty, back out and reselect the pedigree papers. You can get different horses to appear on pedigree papers by backing out and reselecting it again. Give the breeding horses all stat skills so the new colts have higher starting stats. Reload the game if you don't get the breed you wanted. Colts mature as either the father or mother's breed. Breeding takes 3 months and maturity can be 3 or 4 months which means colts will birth after the new year guaranteed. Temper also acts as stamina if they run out of stamina while racing.īreed at Month 7. Strength will reduce their recovery time without the pasture and temper is just good for racing as they move up the ranks. Give them temper/strength while they are training from age 1-3. Additionally, don't give the horses any skills that increases stats in stamina/speed/dex/intensity. Horses stats drop once they hit age 3 not allowing you to train them further. The grass course is unlocked by beating the 10mil Special which is unlocked by beating the SP Novice Race. Dirt course is unlocked by beating the 16mil Qualifier. I only used the rest area for medals, ice cream shop for increasing visitor value, and pasture/grass course/dirt course for training horses once they become unlocked. Once you reach 100% on a visitor, move onto the others as they give nothing once they reach 100%. Once you reach 100% value, they will give you a pedigree paper which will be used to unlock better horses. This is not precise, but that is the idea. If the ice cream shop's quality is 100, a student will get 40 value per visit. If the ice cream shop's quality is 50, a student will get 20 value per visit. After winning the Maiden Race, a busload of students will arrive and go to your shops. The higher the quality of the ice cream shop, the more value is given to the visitors.
As they visit the ice cream shop, their value bar will increase giving you unlocks like new skills and training options for jockeys/horses. Getting 1st place increases fame allowing them to visit more often. When you win a race, a busload of visitors will come based on their picture in the selected race. You'll need to specially train Horses 5-6 and the Tomahawks as their stats are too high to max with just training courses. I never specially trained Horses 1-4, only used the training courses.
